(eng) The main thing I enjoy about painting and illustrating is playing and experimenting with colours, textures and techniques. However, there is no need for any specific method, as my work is very intuitive and free.
My paintings are usually simple; colours are mainly soft and pale, lines and curves are often indistinct; yet every painting is full of small details that can easily be missed at first glance. This is how I try to engage the viewer and make him become aware of the sensations he is experiencing. Some of my paintings are full of words, lyrics of songs I love, like Slowdive´s song "when the sun hits". Generally, I work with watercolours, pencil and ink and for material I use wood. Sometimes it is used wood that I find in the street, such as old doors, tables, etc. I find this material interesting as it has a lot of details, textures and effects. One benefit of not using frames is that I can take advantage of the edges of the piece of wood. My influences are mainly musical (I love music, I consider myself a melomaniac), and I’m also inspired by Japanese/Chinese art…
