Alain Bañón

Alain Bañon was born in Barcelona 1970. Independent photographer based in Costa Brava, Spain. After studies of journalism and photography in BCN, he started to travel choosing the cultural anthropology as a base for his work.

Alain has done articles in Spain, Morocco, Nepal, France, Bulgary, Haiti, New York, Cuba, and The Dominican Republic, where he lived from 2000 to 2010. He also has had many exhibitions collectives and individuals. His first book 'Dominican Republic' was also a tribute to author photography and 35mm film.
